Accounting technician

VANRATH is delighted to announce a partnership with a prominent manufacturing company in Belfast, who are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join their expanding Finance Function. This newly established position will report directly to the Office Manager.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing purchase order administration and processing invoices to the ERP system
- Document management of invoices and statements
- Costing invoices
- Reconciling statements
- Efficiently resolving queries and communicating with suppliers
- Reconciling company accounts
- Assisting with management accounts
- Providing cover for payroll duties

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounts, preferably as a finance officer, Accounting Technician, or Accounts Assistant
- IATI qualified or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
