The Role

This is a standout opportunity to join one of Northern Ireland's most forward-thinking boutique firms as they continue a period of significant growth. Based in brand-new offices in central Belfast, the successful candidate will become part of a 28-strong team combining accountancy, financial planning, and business advisory expertise in a single, integrated service.
You'll play a key leadership role within the Accountancy & Tax Advisory division - managing client relationships, delivering strategic financial advice, and leading a talented team in a business that prizes innovation, collaboration, and professional development.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the delivery of management accounts, year-end accounts, and tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
  • Guide clients through business planning and advisory projects, identifying opportunities to add value and support their long-term goals.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of qualified and trainee accountants, ensuring a supportive and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency across all workflows, using technology to streamline processes.
  • Support business development by nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Represent the firm at networking events and contribute to ongoing brand growth and visibility.

What's in It for You

  • Generous salary depending on experience.
  • Modern brand-new Belfast office with a lively, close-knit culture.
  • Market-leading benefits and wellbeing initiatives - recognised by multiple Irish News and Eastside Awards.
  • Regular social, team-building, and charity events throughout the year.
  • A collaborative, people-first culture where professional growth and mentoring are prioritised.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with 3+ years' PQE.
  • Proven experience in accounts preparation, management accounts, and tax compliance.
  • Previous team-leadership or supervisory experience within practice.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify advisory opportunities.
