This is a temporary position for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential for extension. If you are a qualified Accountant with strong financial management skills, and an interest in gaining experience within the public sector, this could be the ideal role for you.
This opportunity is being offered with a hybrid working arrangement, which involves 3 days per week in the office, and the remaining 2 days working from home.

About you
- Qualified Accountant
- Public sector experience (desirable)
- Strong IT skills including MS Excel
- Available at short notice
What you'll do
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including budgetary analysis, monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Assist in development and monitoring of annual budgets
- Manage cash flow and liquidity
- Investigate variances against budget and provide analysis of differences
- Financial analysis to support decision making processes, identify trends, and assess financial performance
