They are recruiting an Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis, taking responsibility to produce month end and year end accounts, including the provision of monthly reporting. This is the ideal role, for a strong communicator, who is comfortable presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accountant will join a high performing team, and will work on their own business unit, having complete autonomy over the role. About you

• Qualified Accountant with at least 2 years PQE
• Experience of management accounts preparation
• Knowledge of UK GAAP
• Strong IT skills particularly MS Excel
• Results driven individual

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly and annual accounts, accruals & prepayments, journal entries, month end reconciliations
• Application of financial controls, adherence to internal control procedures
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Reconciliation of service charges and VAT adjustments
• Analysis and maintenance of expenditure analysis
