VANRATH are pleased to be recruiting an Accountant to join a leading business in the Carrick area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Accountant to join a stable team environment, taking responsibility for the financial & management accounting for multiple entities.

The successful candidate will be report to the Finance Director, however, will have autonomy over the financial processes for multiple entities within the business. This role will suit an individual who has worked in a similar role, ideally within a group setting.

This is a newly created role within the team, and due to the growth plans of the group, there is an opportunity to develop into a senior role in 18 - 24 months.

About you

• Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong financial & management accounting skills
• Sage Line 50 experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple deadlines

What you'll do

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of cashflows, development of projections & budgets
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Prepare and present detailed monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies
