Account Manager (IT) (Hybrid)

Job Description

VANRATH have partnered with one of the fastest growing IT companies that has offices all over Ireland and the UK. The organisation is looking to recruit an Account Manager due to company growth.

The successful candidate will work within the company's very modern Antrim office.

In this role you will manage existing accounts and generate new opportunities and customers. You will be supported by a team of IT experts.

Salary:

Negotiable based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Generation of new business - retaining, developing and growing a portfolio of accounts across the private sector (focusing on enterprise customers)
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Identify opportunities for business growth with existing clients.
  • Reviewal and management of Sales Performance, in line with company objectives and targets.
  • Strong understanding of customer requirements and ability to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Provide customer presentations with an articulation of the company propositions - at all levels.
  • Create a sales plan and develop a pipeline detailing current and future business opportunities.
  • Influence budget planning for customers IT requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Have a number of years working within IT sector.
  • Proven B2B account management experience, selling IT solutions to Enterprise level accounts.
  • Experience maintaining a network of contacts and build relationships at senior levels.
  • Own and produce bits and proposals. Work alongside clients and internal tech pre-sales teams to provide accurate and detailed proposals.
  • Experience delivering recommendations and proposals at C_ level.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship development skills.
  • Ability to work across different levels throughout the company.
  • Sales cycle knowledge.
  • Ensure smooth running of all processes from initial contractual engagement to timely invoice payment.
  • Ability to present ROI models.
  • Strong written documentation skills, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised - can plan short, medium and long-term objectives effectively.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Accountable, taking ownership and responsibility for your actions.
  • Self-reliant and motivated - with a positive and proactive attitude.
