Job description

Vanrath is partnering with a client that works across 140 countries to recruit a proactive Account Executive (Supply Chain) - for their brand new Belfast office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly, dynamic team.

The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Account Management, you will be responsible for managing relationships with a portfolio of buyer accounts while supporting wider account management activity. The position will involve working closely with internal teams to ensure clients gain maximum value from the platform, while identifying opportunities to improve account performance and drive revenue growth.

£31,000 - £34,000 basic (DOE) + High OTE (up to around 40% of salary ~£47,600)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of buyer accounts, ensuring a high level of service and support.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and helping them maximise the value of their subscription.
  • Support the Account Management team with account reviews, reporting, and client engagement activity.
  • Manage the annual subscription renewal process and contribute to achieving high customer retention rates.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, upselling additional services where appropriate.
  • Respond to incoming client queries and proactively engage customers through outbound calls.
  • Assist with onboarding new clients and coordinating documentation and account setup.
  • Work closely with internal teams including sales, finance, operations, and customer success to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records within CRM systems, updating customer information, activity logs, and pipeline stages.
  • Monitor account activity and flag potential risks or opportunities within the customer base.
  • Support billing and invoicing processes and assist with reporting on account performance.

Your Profile:

  • Previous experience in account management, inside sales, or a customer-facing commercial role (Tech / Supply Chain ideal).
  • Experience working in a B2B environment is desirable.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
