🤝 We welcomed new team members to join our team.

First of all, we were delighted to introduce Ryan McQuitty, who joined us as our Senior IT Recruitment Specialist, and Ruth Toner, who came on board as our latest Resourcer. Both brought valuable experience and expertise to our team, and we were excited to have them join us- we look forward to achieving great things together!

🙌 It's not just work; it’s good vibes at VANRATH!

We recently enjoyed some fantastic team bonding activities at VANRATH, starting off with channelling our inner Luke Littler at our office dart tournament. Later on in the month, our awesome team also got to share a delicious lunch, catching up after a well-deserved Christmas break. Additionally, we showed our appreciation to our hardworking employees and supported local business, by treating them to "Loadaballs" from Sloans gym. These events are just a glimpse of the fun and supportive atmosphere that makes VANRATH a great place to work.

📅 Partnerships, sponsorships and networking opportunities!

Last month saw a whirlwind of activity at the VANRATH office! Our team participated in a range of meetings and events, from strategic discussions with partners and potential clients to community support initiatives. We were thrilled to connect with Catalyst and CIPD to plan sponsorships and partnerships for the months ahead, reaffirming our dedication to empowering talent and supporting meaningful causes. Whether it is supporting professional development events or sponsoring awards ceremonies, VANRATH remain actively engaged in fostering connections and driving positive change in our community.

Emma Jayne Bowen from our Accountancy team had the opportunity to attend the Women in Business NI Professional Services Virtual Roundtable, all from the comfort of our office. It was a fantastic chance to network with industry peers, explore trending topics, and enjoy a good cup of coffee during the virtual meeting. Such gatherings offer invaluable insights and networking opportunities, underscoring VANRATH's commitment to empowering professionals and fostering community connections.

🔝Rewarding future talent!

Last month, our IT Recruitment Director, Matthew Evers, attended the Ulster University School of Computing Awards at their Belfast campus, where he presented our award and enjoyed a delicious lunch. VANRATH was proud to extend our sponsorship for this event, offering cash prizes to top students across the 1st, 2nd, and 4th years. Congratulations to Taylor Crawford for winning the 4th-year award! Your achievements are a testament to the future talent in the field of computer science.

👨💻 Tech-sperts series continues in 2024…

Continuing our Tech-sperts series, last month we had the privilege of hosting Brenda Robb, Chief Marketing Officer at BlackFog, as she unveiled groundbreaking insights, trends, and innovations in the cybersecurity world. Brenda's journey from PR roots to the forefront of cybersecurity is a testament to passion and innovation in the digital realm. Her remarkable story highlights her transition from a PR maven to a key leader at BlackFog, where she has been instrumental in driving innovative strategies.

As we wrap up this newsletter and reflect on the vibrant month of January, it's evident that VANRATH has hit the ground running in 2024. From welcoming new talent to our team and fostering strong partnerships within our community, to celebrating achievements and nurturing future talent, it's been a whirlwind of activity.

As we navigate the year ahead, VANRATH remains committed to fostering connections, supporting meaningful initiatives, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
