Over 20 members of our team will participate this September to support the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice!

This September, we're gearing up to unleash our inner dragon as our team prepares for the iconic Dragon Boat Race in aid of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice! What promises to be a fantastic day out with the team will also be an opportunity to give back to local families and children in need.

Since 2014, VANRATH have been dedicated to supporting this incredible charity, and together we have raised over £200,000 and counting. We are also proud founder members of the Time to Care initiative, which funds the salary of a Senior Staff Nurse, along with many other fundraising initiatives both internally and externally.

Barbara, Managing Director at VANRATH, emphasises the significance of our ongoing partnership, stating: "Our commitment to supporting the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice runs deep. We believe in their mission and the positive impact they have on the lives of children and families in our community. The Dragon Boat Race is just one of the many ways we demonstrate our continued support and determination to make a difference. The team at VANRATH have been champions in fundraising, and now we're ready to take the plunge at the corporate Dragon Boat Race."

Lauren Doherty, Acting Director of Commercial and Brand Development at NI Hospice, highlights the importance of this event, saying, "The Dragon Boat Race is a unique and exciting opportunity for team building while raising vital funds for Hospice's specialized care. Whether you're an experienced rower or a first-timer, we want you to experience the excitement of the race, bring your competitive spirit, and enjoy the day with us."

By participating in the corporate Dragon Boat Race on Friday, 8th September, your team can compete against local businesses with the aim of being crowned the Dragon Boat Emperors. Alternatively, you can join the community Dragon Boat Race on Saturday, 9th September, where friends, families, clubs, and groups come together to compete for the prestigious Dragon Boat Trophy.
