Job Description

Vanrath are supporting the recruitment of a Customer Advisor for a large public sector company within the Craigavon area on a temporary basis.

About your next employer
As a Customer Advisor, you will deliver an outstanding customer experience and connect positively with customers, understanding and meeting their needs as appropriate. It will also be the Customer Advisors responsibility to support all colleagues to ensure all expected levels of service are met.

What you'll do

  • Meet and greet customers both face to face, over phone or by digital platforms and provide them with the information and services needed to allow them to participate in their desired activity.
  • Deal with all customer enquiries and concerns, ensuring all escalated to correct team members on a timely manner.
  • Maintain Front of House systems and update databases daily.
  • Process bookings, memberships, and transactions, including sales.
  • Process financial transactions, including all payments, cash-handling, and reconciliations.
  • Raise invoices for debtors for supply of goods and services. Raise purchase orders, mark goods received.
  • Manage the social media communications.
  • Get involved with daily tours.
  • This is not an exhaustive list of the daily duties



About you
Essential:

  • 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) or equivalent/comparable including English Language and Mathematics
  • One year's experience within a Customer Service environment to include each of the following:
  • Cash-handling and reconciliation;
  • Dealing with the public both face-to face and by telephone;
  • Use of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Criteria:

  • One year's sales experience.
