Salary/Benefits
Up to £41,000 DOE + 5% Bonus

About you
GCSEs or equivalent passes in Mathematics and English (Grade C or above)
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a national logistics environment with multiple weekly deliveries
At least 1+ year's experience managing a large transport team within a fast-paced, customer-focused operation
Valid Transport Managers CPC (National & International)
Strong knowledge of transport legislation, tachographs, H&S and HACCP
Experience managing budgets, KPIs and data analysis
Proficient with PC applications, particularly spreadsheets and databases; familiarity with IT software such as Stratum and CSNX is a plus
Excellent communication skills, combined with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
What you'll do
Lead, motivate and develop the transport team, creating a positive and collaborative working environment
Manage daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries are efficient, legal and compliant
Oversee health and safety standards and promote best practice across the team
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise operational effectiveness
Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including payroll and KPIs
Support strategic planning and continuous improvement across the transport function
