Job Description


An amazing opportunity has just opened up for Training Officer, specialising in administration and delivering training to join our client, a well known private sector organisation in Monkstown. Our client requires an experienced administrator with interest in training to support the organisation on a 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract.

The Ideal Person

  • At least 1 years' experience in administration and delivering training programmes
  • Knowledge of change management approaches, and the ability to flex these to best suit the project team, to ensure embedding and adoption of the change and realisation of benefits;
  • A passion for sharing knowledge; driving desired behaviours through a coaching mentality;
  • Excellent communication skills; with the ability to translate messages and information for many differing audience needs.


Responsibilities


As Training Officer you will:

  • Collate all existing training records from excel sheets onto PAMS and to schedule refresher training with department managers.
  • Liaise with the HSE team and line management to identify training requirements for each role and any specifics needed such as, fire, first aid etc.
  • Develop training plans and schedules with departments to identify and meet training requirements.
  • Provide support and training throughout the company to ensure full optimisation of our online training tool, IHASCO.
  • Provide management and supervisors with guidance on our training platform.
  • During the onboarding process review upcoming new starts roles against minimum training requirements and create training plans with their line management to meet these requirements.
  • Carryout monthly training reviews with management teams.
  • Provide administrative training assistance to the Talent Team as required.
