Technical Business Analyst- Software House

Job Description

Are you a Technical Business Analyst searching for an opportunity to work with a recognised fintech business that values its employees? You should be highly skilled in all stages of the SDLC and have experience working in an agile environment. Ideally you should also have at least five years of experience in a product-based company or software house.

The ideal candidate should have financial experience aswell as a degree in an IT related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for delivering projects within IT involving many projects being led through different stakeholders from developers to QA, business owners, operations, and IT management groups
  • Assists the integration and implementation of new systems and technologies
  • Works with management and senior staff to deliver projects on time, while keeping costs low and the project within its scope
  • Assists with business analysis and functional architecture tasks on a regular basis for projects
  • Carries out fundamental project management duties and frequently collaborates with other project managers on larger projects

Key BA skills:

  • Wide experience of planning, project management and product delivery throughout the SDLC.
  • Proficient at preparing requirements documentation and delivering project/status reports
  • Excellent communication skills when engaging with all major stakeholders and communicating risks.
  • Experience of business process and process improvement.
  • Highly motivated and self-driven individual.

Technical skills:

(Ideally some of these skills) Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), PowerBI, Microsoft SQL Server, JIRA, Confluence, Test Rail, GitHub, C++, Unix
