VANRATH is currently seeking applications for the role of Talent Acquisition Manager, for one of the world's leading design and construction companies.


The Talent Acquisition Manager will act as a business partner to senior management and hiring managers by developing and driving strategies to recruit top talent in a competitive market and will possess exceptional stakeholder management skills, a collaborative style, and have the ability to influence.


This is a newly created opportunity that offers scope to develop the talent acquisition strategies business wide. Working closely with HR, communications & marketing colleagues, you will raise employer brand awareness whilst ensuring all external messaging is fully aligned with the company's core values.

You'll focus on providing both candidates and hiring managers with a professional recruitment experience and be able to apply your knowledge and experience to engage and attract the best talent in the market.


You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process and will support hiring managers in achieving their resourcing needs and attracting and retaining talent into the organisation and then be involved in the support of HR colleagues with HR generalist activities including L&D initiatives and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, simultaneously recruiting for multiple vacancies across various departments in line with the hiring plan and current business demands and
    opportunities.
  • Train and develop all line managers on the end-to-end recruitment & selection process to ensure consistency, transparency and the quality of new hires
  • Work with HR to implement the company diversity, equality & inclusion agenda.
  • Implement a multi-channel recruitment strategy focusing on the direct sourcing of high-quality candidates
  • Maximise the potential of LinkedIn, social media, and other innovative talent tools to build a continuously growing talent pipeline.
  • Confer with hiring managers to make hiring recommendations and professional advice on recruitment.
  • Provide accurate reporting on all key metrics and submit monthly board reports.
  • Working with HR team to develop a recruitment strategy, which builds upon employer brand.
  • Facilitating and/or coaching colleagues to develop their understanding of recruitment.
  • Ensure impressive candidate experience through thorough communication and timely feedback.
  • Maintain strong lines of communication with stakeholders to manage an efficient hiring process and offer a continuous dialogue on search performance.
  • Support HR colleagues with HR generalist activities including L&D initiatives and performance management.



The Person

  • Knowledge of current employment legislation related to recruitment, including GDPR.
  • An established recruitment professional with experience of hiring, preferably in the construction sector
  • Knowledge of HR best practice in the following areas:
  • Candidate attraction o Values based recruitment
  • Recruitment processes
  • Talent pooling
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Onboarding
  • Metrics on Recruitment Performance
  • Social Media recruitment
  • Employer Branding
  • Full recruitment campaign management experience, including specialist or senior hires.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
