About you:

  • Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
  • Previous experience in social housing (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Proficiency with CAD and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of building regulations, planning laws, and health & safety standards

What you'll do:

  • Lead inspections and surveys for planned maintenance projects
  • Coordinate and monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Prepare detailed reports on property conditions, defects, and maintenance recommendations
  • Liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project stages
  • Manage site teams and review work quality to ensure compliance and excellence
  • Collaborate with internal QS teams and external consultants on valuations and cost management
  • Provide technical guidance on building regulations, safety standards, and regulations compliance
  • Assist with project handovers and contribute to maintaining high SHEQ standards
