About you:
- Degree in Building Surveying or a related field
- Previous experience in social housing (desirable but not essential)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Proficiency with CAD and other relevant software
- Knowledge of building regulations, planning laws, and health & safety standards
What you'll do:
- Lead inspections and surveys for planned maintenance projects
- Coordinate and monitor project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met
- Prepare detailed reports on property conditions, defects, and maintenance recommendations
- Liaise effectively with tenants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project stages
- Manage site teams and review work quality to ensure compliance and excellence
- Collaborate with internal QS teams and external consultants on valuations and cost management
- Provide technical guidance on building regulations, safety standards, and regulations compliance
- Assist with project handovers and contribute to maintaining high SHEQ standards
