Small Grant Project Manager

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a well known organisation in their search for a part time Small Grants Project Manager to come in at Grade 7 level for 2 days per week for an initial period of 12 months with potential for extension.

Salary
This is a grade 7 post offering £27 per hour for 14 hours per week plus excellent benefits exclusive to VANRATH.

The Ideal Person

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent third level qualification

AND

  • A minimum of 3 years' proven track record within Project Management

OR

  • A minimum of 5 years' Project Management experience of leading the successful implementation of significant and complex projects
  • Experience of managing workloads to meet agreed complex targets, bringing set objectives to successful completion within agreed deadlines.
  • Experience of working with and/or leading teams.
  • Experience of relationship building, project teams, stakeholders and internal customers.

Responsibilities
This role will project manage the development of key elements of the design and operation of a small grants programme within the wider Programme.
The post holder will seek and secure buy-in from a range of internal and external stakeholders, including the organisation's Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat, Financial Control Unit and relevant Government Departments which have small grant-giving expertise. The role will also involve administering pre-development support around the subject areas of peace building and prosperity to some Investment Areas in the Programme, which will mainly involve infrastructure projects.
