Service Desk Technician (Dundonald) (Band 4)

Job Description

VANRATH are delighted to be hiring an ICT Service Desk Officer to work for one of Northern Ireland's largest public sector bodies.

The role is full-time for 3 months, with a high chance of extension for the right candidate.

Location: Dundonald with a view for Hybrid working after training

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting members of staff with troubleshooting 365 queries
  • Triaging tickets and escalating through appropriate channels when required
  • Walking staff members through Mail Migration and Exchange 365 protocols in line with ITSM guidelines.
  • Resolution of IT Service desk calls
  • Setup and issue of computers to staff including installation of any required software.
  • Supporting users and computers operating in a network environment.


Experience Required

  • Experience with IT Systems such as Outlook & Exchange
  • Ability to follow step by step guide to provide IT Support
  • Preferred experience within an IT Service Desk environment
  • Customer Service experience desirable


Salary / Benefits:

£22,543+ Holiday Pay + Pension
