Service Desk Analyst (Night Shift)

Job Description


The Client
VANRATH are pleased to be working with one the UK's largest assured services companies, providing to the UK & Europe's private sector businesses within the food industry. As part of their Service Desk team, you will be working across a broad range of technologies to support their European operations.


The Ideal Person

  • Experienced in incident impact and analysis
  • Experience in a customer support role for a medium to large organisation
  • Analytically minded with excellent communication skills
  • Formally qualified in IT to degree or masters level is desirable
  • ITIL Qualified is desirable


The Role

  • Manage Service Desk queue and action tickets promptly
  • Provide technical guidance to staff across all levels
  • Handle incidents and requests (telephone, email, in person)
  • Manage Service Desk database in collaboration with other IT support teams
  • Manage VIP incidents/ requests
  • Shift work: Tuesday to Saturday (00.00am to 08.00am)
