Senior Welder / Welding Trainer
Antrim | £35,000 - £40,000 | Permanent | Monday - Friday
A well-established manufacturing company in Antrim is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Welder who is looking to move off the tools and step into a leadership and training role.
This position is ideal for a skilled welder who wants to share their expertise, mentor junior welders, and play a key role in developing the next generation of fabricators.
The Role
As Senior Welder / Welding Trainer, you will:
- Support and mentor welders and fabricators, providing hands-on training and guidance.
- Ensure weld quality and fabrication standards are consistently met.
- Deliver coaching on best practices, safe working procedures, and technical skills.
- Work with supervisors and production teams to identify training needs and skills gaps.
- Help create a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the workshop.
About You
- Time-served welder with significant experience in MIG/TIG welding and fabrication.
- Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and develop others.
- A team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
