Senior Systems Analyst (SQL, .NET, C#)

Job Description

My Client a well-known construction company specializing in a variety of projects such as commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure, is seeking a talented Senior Systems Analyst to join their expanding team.

The company is known for delivering exceptional construction projects that exceed their clients' expectations and offers a wide range of services, including design, construction management, general contracting, and project management.

The ideal candidate will hold a third-level IT degree or possess relevant business experience and have a successful history of supporting business systems and services. They must also have hands-on experience with Visual Studio - .net, MVC, C#.

As a senior member of the IT Development Team, the Senior Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in developing custom solutions and integrating existing solutions to support the company. They should have a passion for both technology and business processes and be able to mentor junior team members while continuously improving development methods and procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying innovative solutions to business challenges through IT
  • Evaluating the best solution for exploitation, either in-house development or third-party systems
  • Ensuring compliance with the agreed standard system solutions within ISO27001
  • Acting as the liaison between business representatives and system providers
  • Providing Help Desk support for all systems under their purview
  • Supporting Service Level Agreements between IT, business users, and third-party providers
  • Developing training materials for key systems and identifying training requirements
  • Preparing business process and end-user documentation and maintaining technical documentation
  • Supporting Disaster Recovery planning, carrying out database administration work as needed, and managing system requirements during testing
  • Contributing to system design during business process change development, coordinating testing and deployment of new functionality, and adhering to the Graham IT project management methodology.
