Senior FP&A Accountant

VANRATH is delighted to be working exclusively with a highly acquisitive and established business to appoint a Senior FP&A in an exciting industry. Reporting to the Finance Director and with close interaction with the wider management team, this is a high profile role is heavily involved in business strategy and extensive stakeholder management. This is newly created senior role is offering the successful candidate the opportunity to own and grow the FP&A function, with room for further progression.

The Person:

• Qualified Accountant
• Highly analytical with the ability to interpret and present data to key stakeholders
• Strong commercial acumen
• Advanced excel skills with previous financial modelling experience
• Excellent business partnering skills
• Previous experience within a corporate finance environment would be beneficial

The Role:

• Lead and develop reporting requirements across the UK and Europe
• Produce clear weekly and monthly financial reporting and divisional KPIs against budget and working with the commercial, finance and sales teams to investigate any unusual trends
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring robust and efficient processes are in place
• Develop and maintain financial models to analyse results across the group
• Develop the FP&A function and team
• Development of clear cash flow reporting and analysis for the business.
