The role:
Reporting to the Financial Director, the Senior Financial Analyst will primarily be responsible for driving Customer & Sub-contractor Profitability and driving management information improvements with regards to site costing information. The Site Costing information will be a key cornerstone of the Budget and you will have a major influence within the compilation and reporting of the Annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts alongside project modelling
Core Responsibilities include;
- You will be part of the Senior Finance Team and will have autonomy to deliver a wide range of system improvements, as well as playing a key role in the development of the business going forward.
- Responsible for the delivery alongside departmental manager for a variety of projects to improve efficiencies across the group and enhance the availability of financial information in decision making.
- Working at a strategic level as well as being hands on and comfortable with the detail you will need to be adaptable.
- You will be responsible for reviewing processes and procedures to seek out business improvements.
- You will be responsible for driving Customer & Sub-contractor Profitability.
- Responsibility for Site Costing information, and in particular with regards to the compilation and reporting of the Annual Budget and quarterly Forecasts.
- Develop financial models to assist senior leadership team in the review of projects and potential acquisitions.
- Provide business insights to the senior leadership team.
- Play an integral role to ensuring the successful implementation of the new company systems
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
- Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a minimum 5 years' experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Be IT literate and demonstrate excellent knowledge of MS office, Excel as well as experience of using a variety of different technologies
- Excellent analytical skills
- Can demonstrate previous experience of involvement in running complex projects through to completion
- Must be hands on and solutions focused individual
- Strategic thinker with a good grounding in operational finance
- Able to support and challenge senior management to deliver great results
