About You:

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA accountant with proven hands-on experience
  • Deep understanding of IFRS, taxation legislation, and financial management
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating complex requirements into clear reports
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, budgets, and system improvements
  • Results-driven with excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Commercial mindset with strategic insight and a proactive approach

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the production of management accounts, KPIs, and financial commentary with accuracy and timeliness
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
  • Oversee audit processes and statutory accounts preparation
  • Manage grant reporting, internal stakeholders, and external bodies
  • Manage transactional finance functions and treasury activities, including payroll
  • Develop and refine financial policies, procedures, and ERP systems to optimise efficiency
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
  • Build strong relationships across departments to support sustainable growth
