VANRATH are pleased to be working with a AI, Cloud and Automation company who are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer (SRE). The company is a global company that has really had an established base in Belfast for over 10+ years and are continuing to grow. The Role

The Sr. Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the overall development and design of Infrastructure as Code for AWS or Azure solutions. The engineer will work closely with product teams to understand the applications and automate the deployments end to end in a multi-cloud environment.

Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

• Hands-on development, design and architect of new cloud solutions with development being the primary duty.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code.
• Perform windows and Linux automation to support projects and application deployments.
• Work with product teams to plan and automate using containers and serverless technologies.
• Create documentation and perform knowledge transfer to other teams.

The person

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Ideally 5+ years of hands on development and design experience with Azure or AWS.
• Ideally of 5+ years of hands on experience with Compute/Storage/Network/Virtualization.
• Ideally of 3 years of hands on experience with Cloud IaaS and automation.
• IDP Experience with Azure AD or AWS IAM with SAML and SSO.
• Strong experience with automation using Terraform and AWS CF Templates.
• Development experience with Python or other language.
• Lifelong learner with the ability to acquire new skills quickly on their own.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Remuneration

The salary for this role is negotiable but would be up to £83k depending on experience along with a great benefits package and remote working,
