Senior C++ Engineer


Create trading and execution platforms harnessing FPGA to achieve ultra low latency high performing trading systems.

Adding new features and improving the functioning of mission-critical platforms

Meets deadlines while developing high-quality software.

Provides suggestions for system enhancements.

Create new software or improve current software to guarantee that product performance and quality standards are satisfied.

The role

As a Senior Engineer in our clients technology function you will bring technical delivery capabilities to
the development teams and provide support for the delivery of production systems. You'll
be proactive in addressing issues as they arise and be capable of taking on responsibility
for completing complex delivery tasks with supportand guidance from
Principal Engineers.


You'll be passionate about software development, a self-learner, and keen to grow your
technical skills to help your development team tobe successful. You should be
comfortable working in agile teams, foster transparent and collaborative communication,
have a commitment to quality and continuous improvementwith a strong focus on
delivery.

The Ideal Person

  • 7+ years of C++ experience (14, 17, and knowledge with 20) and a thorough understanding of data structures
  • Knowledge of atomic memory access and modification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of concurrent, multi-threaded application environments
  • Unix/Linux knowledge is necessary.
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science (CIS) or a related subject, or comparable experience, is required.
  • Exhibits diligence and a strong sense of ownership over the task.
  • Good team member who is eager to contribute and assist others.

Desirable skills/knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Java and/or Python

  • Expereince with FPGA
  • Recent versions of C++ compilers (gcc, clang)

  • Agile/Scrum development methodologies
