VANRATH are delighted to be representing a highly reputable and respected manufacturer, that now have a an attractive opening for an experienced Buyer. This a full time position with an early Friday finish! You will be joining a company with an impressive list of signed contracts in England and NI, which are just getting started. You will be provided with training to help you transition to their way of working and their specific industry. Please note that the salary mentioned is my client's limit.

The ideal person:

• Two year's recent experience
• Manufacturing or construction background
• Team player who is willing to learn
• Passion for buying and procurement
• Previous experience using MS Navision

As the Senior Buyer, your duties will include:

• Analyse & establish cost parameters against budgets
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, items library, and other important data
• Review and analyse all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts for spend categories
