VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Senior Business Development Assistant for a leading global law firm operating in over thirty countries.

This role will initially completely Working from Home, with views to move to Hybrid working once the guidance has been lifted.
This is a Monday - Friday position. Initially on a 12-month contract, permanent opportunity available during or at the end of this.
Salary
£24,000 - £27,000 p/a (Negotiable based off Experience) + Fantastic benefits from Global Firm & Progression Opportunities
Key Tasks
Collate information for and delivering first drafts of credentials statements, proposals (baseline documents for matter pitches, panel pitches).
In conjunction with the Creative Services team, create other client facing materials including brochures, inserts and contact cards.
Take a lead role in organising the annual Global ABS conference with the Securitisation team. This will include, organising and planning internal pre event communication (briefing/speaker notes for hosts), managing all external communications, including invitations and social media posts, producing all marketing collateral such as product and practice brochures, and organising all client entertaining.
Proactively make suggestions for future BD initiatives and supporting the development of client plans where appropriate.
Use internal and external data to spot trends and opportunities in the market, and as required responding to ad-hoc research requests.
Support on our content and profile raising activities, with a particular focus on internal and external communications.
Support the BD team with BD and marketing initiatives and other inputs as required.
The Ideal Person:
At least two years' experience working in professional services firm, preferably in a BD role
Proven experience organising and managing events or conferences
Project management experience
Graduate with an interest in further professional qualifications (CIM or business qualification)
Research skills would be advantageous
Strong time management skills, ability to multi task (especially urgent requests) and work well under pressure
Excellent attention to detail
Enthusiastic, pro-active, persistent, robust, with a commitment to getting the job done
