About you
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar quantity surveying role
- Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- What you'll do
- Assist with detailed cost estimates and contribute to pre-construction planning
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring strict cost control
- Support tender preparation and evaluate contractor bids
- Lead contract negotiations and monitor contractual obligations
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and quality, liaising with project teams
- Manage project scope changes and assess financial impacts
- Prepare final accounts and ensure accurate financial documentation
