BAND 7 Project Manager

VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for a BAND 7 Project Manager for an ongoing temporary role. The role is based in their Derry/Londonderry site, however, occasionally you will be required to work in their other sites as well.

Overview of Responsibilities:

The post holder will ultimately be responsible for overseeing the delivery of Minor Capital Works projects and leading all staff associated with the project.

• Manage individual Minor Capital Works projects including Brief, Design, Planning, Procurement and Execution of Building alterations and Minor Building Works schemes
• Assist and support other Estates Officers in the delivery of Minor Capital Works Projects
• Management of external Consultants in the delivery of Minor Capital Works schemes
• Development of Business Cases for Minor Capital Works

Qualifications and Experience:

HNC/HND or equivalent in either:

• Architecture
• Building Surveying
• Quantity Surveying
• Building
• Civil Engineering
• Equivalent of above

The ideal person should have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience to include construction project management and / or estates management.

Remuneration

This is a BAND 7 role, £38,890 per annum, plus discount benefits
