Are you looking for a Project Manager role? Interested in working for a leading commercial fit-out contractor?

VANRATH are recruiting a Project Manager to work on high end commercial fit out projects in London, for a Northern Irish Contractor.

Remuneration:
c£55,000 to £60,000 plus benefits

Client:
Our client is a leading interior fit-out contractor based in Greater Belfast, Northern Ireland. They specialise in high quality commercial fit-out projects covering retail, hospitality, business, sport and healthcare.

The company are going through a period of significant growth and due to an increase in workload and are looking for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis. They are looking for a Project Manager that is happy to work in London as that's where their projects are based.

Role:
The Project Manager will be required to manage fit out contracts on-site, liaising with the Contracts Manager, client, sub-contractors and other trades, co-ordinating all aspects of the works so that the project is completed in line with the requirements, within budget and on time.

The successful person will have a commercial understanding of the project, advising and implementing cost savings at all times, and represent the company in a professional and proactive manner in all dealings with those associated with, and affected by, the building project.

The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Experience working on commercial fit out projects
  • Track record working as a Project Manager
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • Analytical skills to be able to understand and interpret complex technical specifications, drawings and documents and formulate plans from them
  • Excellent management skills
  • Good IT Skills to enable flow of information between those involved in the project, particularly Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings using AutoCAD
  • Happy to travel to / work in London during the weekdays
