Procurement Officer (£33.5+) (Hybrid)

Job Description

VANRATH are recruiting for experienced procurement professionals to join our Public Sector client on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a fantastic progression opportunity or change of scene, offering flexible working arrangements and 36 hours per week.

The Ideal Person

  • A minimum if 2 A Levels (Grade A-C) or equivalent and 5 GCSE's (Grade A-C) to include Maths and ENglish or relevant qualifications
  • Possess or be working towards membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS).
  • A minimum of two years' relevant experience within a procurement/purchasing unit including the preparation and issue of tenders.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK procurement regulations.



Summary of the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the provision of operational procurement support across the Organisation and to lead, promote and modernise procurement processes, within the constraints of UK procurement regulations.
