Part-Time Engineering Lecturer (Daytime Hours)
VANRATH is working in partnership with a leading Further Education college to recruit a Part-Time Engineering Lecturer (Manufacturing / Mechanical / General Engineering).
This is a great opportunity for someone from industry or education who wants to move into teaching or continue developing their lecturing career.

The Role
You'll be delivering practical and classroom-based teaching across a range of engineering subjects, helping students build the skills needed for industry.
You'll play a key role in:
- Delivering engaging, hands-on engineering sessions
- Supporting learners through their coursework and assessments
- Bringing real-world industry knowledge into the classroom
What You'll Be Doing
- Teaching across manufacturing, mechanical or general engineering topics
- Planning lessons and preparing learning materials
- Designing and marking assessments, providing clear feedback
- Monitoring student progress and offering support where needed
- Working with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards
- Supporting course development and quality assurance processes
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Engaging with industry links and supporting student employability
What You'll Need
- A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in an engineering discipline
- Industry experience (post-apprenticeship) and/or teaching/training experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in developing others
Nice to Have
- Previous lecturing or training experience
- Experience with awarding bodies or curriculum development
