Are you a Part-Qualified Accountant looking to join a well-established company who are leaders within their field. This is an initial interim contract for 3 months, and will be project focused, supporting with the audit preparation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional seeking broad exposure across accounts preparation, statutory compliance, and reporting activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and wider finance team, taking ownership of key financial processes including VAT reporting, Intrastat submissions, audit preparation, and month-end reporting.

To be considered for this role, it is essential to have previous experience in a similar accounting environment.

About you

Part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or actively studying towards a professional qualification
Previous experience in a finance role within industry or practice
Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns and Intrastat declarations
Experience assisting with year-end accounts and audit preparation
Strong Excel and financial systems experience

What you'll do

Prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat declarations
Support the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain financial records
Assist with statutory reporting requirements and compliance activities
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Analyse financial information and provide reporting support to the wider business
