Operational Integration Lead (Manufacturing) - N.I & Germany

We're partnering with a global organisation to appoint an Operational Integration Lead who will lead onsite operational integration efforts within the manufacturing business, serving as the key bridge between plant operations and U.S.-based executive leadership.

The role is responsible for evaluating and optimising manufacturing workflows, operational processes, organisational capability, and cross-functional communication systems to support scalable growth, operational efficiency, and EBITDA improvement. The successful candidate will be required to travel to Berlin for 3-4 days a week, so German speaking would be advantageous.

This is a transformation-focused assignment centred on operational alignment, synergy identification, execution discipline, and building scalable operational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and map manufacturing workflows and operational processes
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and scalability opportunities
  • Recommend operational improvements to improve throughput and efficiency
  • Support implementation of operational synergies and process alignment
  • Evaluate existing safety and quality systems and accountability structures
  • Support transition toward a more performance and results-driven operating culture
  • Establish KPI-driven operational reporting and accountability measures
  • Align operational quality and safety performance with business objectives

Required Experience

We are seeking individuals with strong experience in:

  • Manufacturing operations
  • Operational transformation
  • Operational integration / post-acquisition integration
  • Process optimisation and workflow improvement
  • Industrial or operationally intensive environments
  • Cross-functional operational leadership
  • Experience working within international or matrix organisations would be advantageous.
  • German speaking would be advantageous.

Contract Details

  • Contract duration: Initial 3-6 months
  • Day rate: Open / negotiable
  • Location: Berlin manufacturing facility
  • Travel: Expected onsite presence 3-4 days per week with flexibility around arrangements
  • Remote working: Flexibility for some home-based working
  • Language: German speaking advantageous but not essential
