VANRATH are recruiting a Mechanical Contracts Manager to work for a leading M&E Contractor, based in Dublin, Ireland.

Overview of Role:
The business has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based in their Dublin office with site visits in and around Dublin. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at any given time; projects are varied across multiple sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver multiple projects simultaneously within agreed scope, schedule and budget while delivering a great quality product to our customers
• Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programs and relevant H&S documentation
• Ensuring full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards
• Providing reports for meetings with managers
• Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal teams to manage progress, challenges, and resolutions
• Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, applications for payment and variation control

Qualifications Required:

• Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
• Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Contracts Manager
• The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines
• Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Strong understanding and knowledge of various HVAC systems
• Sound understanding and knowledge of mechanical co-ordination and building modelling
• Proven ability to lead and manage team
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis
• Good IT skills especially with MS office software
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts
• Safe Pass / CSR Card
• Full clean driving licence
