The Role:

The Market Insights Manager will manage and execute key market research initiatives and projects for across the company its individual business units.

As a member of the corporate marketing team, you will work with internal stakeholders to design and execute market research programmes that provide answers to key business questions and make recommendations for strategic direction and development across the wider group of companies.

You will also have an excellent knowledge of business issues and industry dynamics and work with the rest of the market insights team to ensure that all agreed programmes are delivered on time, to requirements and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide internal stakeholders on appropriate research methodologies to answer key business questions - both at the Corporate and business unit level. Design and execute these ad hoc projects, interpret the data and present the results
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends and collate information on a regular basis
  • Regularly review and analyse specific internal marketing data as required - win/ loss analysis, marketing ROI, campaign performance
  • Manage the customer satisfaction process across all business units - maintain database of client contact details, control survey distribution and collect and analyse results
  • Manage and execute bi-annual brand sentiment research
  • Where appropriate liaise with external agencies/ groups to execute plan to agreed timescale and budget

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
  • 3+ years' experience running and managing primary and secondary market research projects
  • 3+ years' experience in a marketing/ market research/ analytical role
  • Experience/ knowledge of healthcare environment (either through education of employment)
  • Analytical skills - can review and digest large amounts of information and pull out implications without getting lost in the detail
  • Can communicate ideas/ point of view clearly - both written and verbally
  • Good ability to organise time and prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met
  • Can proactively work on own initiative and make own suggestions for improvement
  • Flexible to work on more than one task at a time.
