Reporting into the FC, this company is experiencing a huge period of growth and will provide the right applicant with fantastic commercial experience in helping drive value to the business.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of Monthly Management accounts and Monthly Reporting Pack, including development of reports and carrying out variance analysis. Understand and challenge key drivers of variances between actual and budget/prior year for all elements of P&L. Work with NI FC to identify actionable insights and partner with Commercial teams to act
  • Calculate and monitor retrospective and promotional discount due to customers and from suppliers
  • Support the NI FC in the building and delivery of the annual budget, partnering with Commercial Team to identify sources for opportunities and growth
  • Assist with preparation and collation of Year End Financial Statements and Audit Process
  • Supporting the Accounts Assistants to manage the payments process and cashflow analysis
  • Provide coaching and support to other members of the Finance team
  • Provide cost and margin analysis by Customer; brand and product, and provide insights and actions to Commercial Team
  • Liaising with HMRC and customers to collate and complete SDIL Returns
  • Management of pricing structure for all customers
  • Provide support to the NI FC on any other ad hoc commercial analysis. Continuing the development and ensuring the adequacy of accounting internal controls, processes & procedures


REQUIREMENTS;

  • Qualified Accountant
  • Desire to grow in a fast-paced commercial organisation
  • Dynamic and driven personality
  • Analytical skills - use of accurate IT systems including Excel
