Management Accountant

VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a leading business seeking to take on board an Management Accountant into their team in Belfast.

This role is ideally suited to a management accountant either qualified or QBE in Belfast who is interested a role that will allow them to add value while also assisting in the management account preparation.

This is not just a back office management accountant role there is a great opportunity to add value to this business through innovative and creative ideas to improve process & efficiency.

The Salary

• £45,000 - £50,000

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of year end accounts and preparation for audit
• Budgeting & forecasting
• Review and reconciliation of control accounts and KPI's.
• Analytical review and analysis of reports
• Systems Development and policing of internal audit controls
• Assist with ERP system upgrades
• Further development with EdgePOS integration to the General Ledger
• Identifying areas of continuous improvement within processes and procedures
• Ad hoc reporting
• Any other duties relevant and related to the post

Essential Criteria

• Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• Or QBE with 3 years experience in similar role
• Strong understanding of accountancy packages
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and conscientious
• An adaptable professional
