VANRATH are delighted to be representing a hugely successful Northern Irish manufacturer, who continue to grow at an a very fast rate and now have a need for a Logistics/Transport Manager to ensure long-term and cost-effective procedures and sytems are implemented.
The ideal person:
- Five year's similar experience
- Evidence of successful strategy/procedure implementation
- CILT qualification is advantageous
- Passion for managing and developing staff
- Flexibility regarding travel across NI and GB.
As a Logistics & Transport Manager, you will:
- Provide effective leadership on continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage a multi-site logistics function
- Be responsible for managing relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external service providers
- Promote company values and procedures, ensuring consistency across your team
- Present and report to senior management monthly on achieved targets and future targets
