Solicitor - Motor, Fraud & Credit Hire (1-5 PQE)

You'll handle a diverse and engaging caseload of litigated motor injury, fraud, and credit hire matters within the County Court jurisdiction-gaining hands-on experience and real responsibility from day one. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build technical expertise, sharpen their litigation skills, and work on complex, high-quality files in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of motor, fraud, and credit hire litigation matters in line with client instructions and commercial objectives.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties through effective communication.
- Proactively progress cases within agreed authority levels, identifying and actioning next steps.
- Conduct witness interviews and draft statements.
- Liaise with all relevant parties involved in claims, including insured individuals, insurers, and witnesses.
- Draft pleadings, applications, and other legal documentation.
- Instruct counsel and attend conferences, mediations, and consultations (remotely and in person).
- Attend court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences as required.
- Deliver against agreed performance targets and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management records.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Law degree and qualified Solicitor (0-5 years' PQE)
- Previous experience in defendant insurance litigation is desirable but not essential
