Salary/ Benefits
In order to attract the very best talent on the market a generous remuneration package is on offer of £30,000 - £35,000 based on experience plus bonus and a range of benefits.

VANRATH are pleased to be working with an industry leading telecommunications firm who are recruiting for a high calibre candidate to fill the role of IT Systems Network Engineer.

• Knowledge in how operating systems and software works
• Interpersonal skills as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues and/or customers
• The ability to prioritise your workload
• The capacity to clearly explain a technical problem to a customer/colleague
• Knowledge of maintaining a Citrix Virtual Desktop environment
• Knowledge of maintaining an on-cloud environment (Azure preferred but not essential)
• Knowledge of maintaining a VPN environment
• Knowledge of datacentre network infrastructure (from ISP through to end user)

Responsibilities

• Installation & configuration of a company's computer hardware operating systems and applications
• Maintenance and monitoring of computer networks and systems
• Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
• Manage and support our change management processes
• Analysis of inbound service desk tickets in order to discover any underlying issues or trends
• Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults
• Identifying, testing and evaluating new technology
• Managing reports and necessary documentation
• Help define standard processes for the Helpdesk
