VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our Public Sector client in the recruitment of an IT Services Desk Officer to join their highly skilled ICT Support Service team on an initial 6 month contract with a view to extend beyond that.
The organisation has a huge presence across Northern Ireland and provide essential services across all communities. This is an immediate job opportunity and the successful candidate will enjoy working on a multitude of highly impactful projects.

The Ideal Person:
- Qualification in Information Communications Technology, Computer Science or computer related subject
- 1 years relevant IT Services Desk/Support experience.
- Drivers Licence
- Installation and support of equipment
- Providing IT Support
Responsibilities:
- Support the IT Service Desk responding to incidents and requests
- Log and assign all calls in relation to Incidents, Service Requests and
Requests for Information utilising IT Service Desk software - Assist with the support of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office,
Information Systems and other software widely used throughout the organisation. - Provide technical assistance to all facilities and departments in their use of
desktop devices. This will include investigating reported system faults,
resolving faults or where necessary, arranging for 3rd party contractors to
resolve the problems - Manage and update databases and technical documentation
- Administration and record keeping in relation to organisation IT assets
