Internal Sales (£30K) (Progression Opportunity)

Job Description

VANRATH are recruiting for an Internal Sales Person on behalf of the UK's largest, leading distributor of pipeline and heating solutions based in Belfast.

A busy and fast paced business with great benefits, and plenty of opportunities for career progression. Yearly bonuses also offered.

Monday - Friday (8.00am - 5.00pm, with 4.00pm finish on a Friday).

Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 + Bonuses (Yearly, around £1,500 - £2,000) & Real routes for progression to Account Manager position

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing directly with customers to maximise sales at every opportunity

  • Working to expand our customer base by helping to identify and develop new accounts.

  • Handling customer orders and enquiries by phone and email on a frequent basis.

  • Communicate with the team and suppliers to ensure a smooth transaction for the customer from start to finish, making sure their order is delivered on time and in full.

  • Involved in face to face customer service on the trade counter.

  • Maintain and develop new customer relationships
  • Present solutions to key contacts through direct communication via telephone calls

The Ideal Person:

  • Sales experience
  • Great communicator
  • Good numerical and computer skills
  • Construction background preferred but not essential
