Intermediate Software Engineer (40k, hybrid, Derry)

The ideal person

  • At least a bachelor's degree in a field of computer science or software engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience, ideally in software development;
  • Knowledge of the.NET development environment C#/VB.net Applications using ASP.NET, Webforms, MVC, Webservices, WinForms, and console
  • Experience working with MSSQL; Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills; Able to work independently; Able to define requirements; Able to identify problems; Able to define requirements; Able to develop; and Most importantly, Able to genuinely care about designing the best technical solutions

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of complex factory-critical software solutions that integrate with existing investments in manufacturing execution and factory control systems.
  • Specifying and producing factory critical software solutions that provide high dollar cost saving solutions to Operations and Research & development business challenges.
  • Involvement in the analysis & design phases of the software development life cycle
  • Work with business analyst to produce design documentation and functional specification.
  • Development of software components based on specifications
