About you:

  • Fully qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CCAB) with current membership
  • Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in a management role
  • Proven experience working within resource-limited or not-for-profit settings
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially with financial systems and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting abilities
  • Commercial acumen with the capacity to interpret key financial drivers
  • Effective communicator able to present complex data to non-financial audiences
  • Motivational leader capable of coaching and inspiring team members
  • Problem solver with a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Organised, structured, and capable of managing multiple priorities

What you'll do:

  • Lead and develop the finance team to deliver accurate and timely financial services
  • Oversee monthly management accounts, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
  • Support strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and scenario planning
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
  • Maintain robust financial controls, systems, and checks to ensure operational excellence
  • Actively manage investments and cash flow to optimise financial returns
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors
  • Lead the external audit process while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Provide strategic input on major projects, highlighting financial impacts and risks
  • Uphold the organisation's governance standards, risk management, and internal policies
