About you
Proven experience in senior financial management, ideally within a charity or healthcare setting
Strong technical accounting skills, ideally with knowledge of Charity SORP (FRS 102) and regulatory requirements
Leadership experience managing and developing finance teams
Excellent understanding of financial controls, compliance, and risk management
Advanced proficiency with financial systems and ERP platforms
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
What you'll do
Lead the operational delivery of the finance function, ensuring timely, accurate processing across all core areas
Oversee statutory reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors
Support strategic financial planning through budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, including leading or supporting systems upgrades and automation initiatives
Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth
Ensure robust financial governance and risk management practices are in place and maintained
Support the delivery of the Finance Digital Futures project, monitoring progress, and ensuring objectives are met
