Grants Project Manager (2 Days per week)

Job Description

VANRATH are recruiting for a Part-Time Grants Project Manager for a well-known Public Sector organisation. This is an immediate start for an initial duration of 12 months with possible further extension depending on project needs.

Responsibilities

This role will project manage the development of key elements of the design and operation of a small grants programme.

The post holder will seek and secure buy-in from a range of internal and external stakeholders, including the organisations Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat, Financial Control Unit and relevant Government Departments which have small grant-giving expertise.

The role will also involve administering pre-development support around the subject areas of peace building and prosperity to some Investment Areas in the Programme, which will mainly involve infrastructure projects.

This role will provide critical support to the organisation at an important stage in the programme development. The post holder will be tasked with achieving accessibility and compliance for a small-scale projects element of the programme, through developing administrative processes of the Programme. It will also manage pre-development support for infrastructure elements of the Programme.

Candidate

Essential

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent third level qualification AND

A minimum of 3 years' proven track record within Project Management

OR

  • A minimum of 5 years' Project Management experience of leading the successful implementation of significant and complex projects.
  • Experience of managing workloads to meet agreed complex targets, bringing set objectives to successful completion within agreed deadlines.
  • Experience of working with and/or leading teams.
  • Experience of relationship building, project teams, stakeholders and internal customers.

Remuneration

  • Salary starting from £52,026 (Pro Rata) or £26.94p/hr with full pay from Day 1.
  • Immediate Start on offer.
  • Part-Time working (2 Days per week).
