This is a standout opportunity for a Tax Accounting Director to take ownership of a high-value global client portfolio within a rapidly growing advisory team. You'll operate at a senior level with real influence on delivery, strategy, and client relationships.
This is a newly created Director role within a high-growth team, offering full ownership of delivery across global tax accounting engagements, supporting large multinational clients with complex, multi-jurisdictional operations.
The role has been designed to strengthen leadership within the team, providing a clear opportunity to operate with autonomy and make a tangible impact at senior level.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, this role will take responsibility for leading global tax accounting, with a strong focus on tax provisioning, compliance and risk across a diverse multinational client base.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivering across complex international structures while leading and developing a high-performing team.
What You Will Do
Lead end-to-end delivery of global tax accounting engagements for multinational clients
Take ownership of tax provisioning processes, including preparation and review under IFRS and US GAAP
Oversee global compliance and risk across multiple entities and jurisdictions
Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building strong and lasting relationships
Drive consistency, quality and efficiency across engagements
Lead, mentor and develop team members
Full ownership of delivery across global tax accounting engagements
Direct interaction with senior stakeholders and CFO-level clients
Play a key role in shaping the growth of the function
Lead and mentor high-performing teams
Identify opportunities to add value to clients and support wider growth of the function

Requirements
Ideally 8-10 years post-qualified experience
Strong background in tax accounting, with clear experience in tax provisioning (IFRS / US GAAP)
Experience working with multinational groups and cross-border structures
Background in either:
Industry (international tax / tax accounting / group reporting), or
Practice (broad tax experience within a small or mid-tier firm with strong ownership)
Commercially aware with strong stakeholder management skills
Proven leadership experience and ability to deliver through others
Highly organised, driven and capable of operating at a senior level
