About you
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 5 years' post-qualification experience
Extensive experience in SaaS or subscription-based business revenue recognition
Proven track record supporting or leading external audits
Strong system skills, particularly with NetSuite or similar ERP platforms
Leadership experience managing small teams and developing talent
Experience working in multi-currency, multi-entity environments, especially UK and North America
Excellent communicator with the ability to operate autonomously and exercise sound judgment
What you'll do
Lead and manage the end-to-end revenue recognition process, ensuring accuracy across complex multi-currency contracts
Oversee the month-end close process, delivering timely, accurate management reports
Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Maintain balance sheet integrity through reconciliations and controls
Develop and enhance financial policies and procedures to support scalable growth
Manage ERP system administration and integrations; champion the use of AI tools to improve efficiency
Support team development through coaching and process documentation
Lead tax compliance activities, including VAT, sales taxes, and R&D claims
