The organisation work on a worldwide scale and are keen to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team, to assist with the business growth plans. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Financial Controller will assume responsibility for the full finance function, including working with potential investors to step the business through the next stages of their journey. This role would suit an ambitious individual who buys into the long-term vision of the business, there will be the opportunity to grow within this role.

The Ideal Person

If you've 2+ years' experience working in a Finance role and are confident with the month end accounting process.

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE (Qualified by experience)
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong work ethic and comfortable in a deadline driven industry

Responsibilities

As an Accountant you will:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of cashflows
  • Development of projections and budgets
  • Monitoring budgets throughout project lifecycle
  • Identify future funding and grant applications
